Do Ho Suh, Cause & Effect
“‘Cause & Effect’ evokes a vicious tornado. This vast ceiling installation is a composition of densely hung strands that anchor thousands of figures clad in colors resembling a Doppler reading stacked atop one another,” said Do Ho Suh, adding that the artwork is a “physical realization of existence, suggesting strength in the presence of numerous individuals. The work is an attempt to decipher the boundaries between a single identity and a larger group, and how the two conditions coexist.

I love this!  Amazing!  Absolutely brilliant!  It’s like windows into an alternate universe.  And the bold dedication for someone to take the walk and make the journey to seek out these exact locations to take a picture of these great heroes aligned within our world to scale with a photograph at arm’s length is fascinating.  Curioser and curioser.

Star Trek Online

My new obsession is so badass!

What you’re looking at here are in-game screenshots as I took command of the Federation Starship USS Phenomenon which the game let me design mixing and matching components inside and out.  Badass!  Seriously great game! That final shot is an explosion from a badass space battle I wasn’t really expecting where I was set on by these Orions and I took them out only to have the mothership show up at the last moment and the battle was badass with me adjusting shield harmonics and trying to keep the ship off my tail because my shields were weak back there, so I was turning the ship and adjusting power levels to weapons so I can get through their shields, and performing evasive maneuvers.  All of a sudden, I had a clear shot through the shields, and photon torpedoes were available, so I had my engineer set it to maximum yield and I blasted a torpedo right the Fuck UP INTO THAT SHIP AND BOOM!!!  AND I FELT SO BADASS! And at the last moment I remembered to click the Printscreen because the explosion was nice!  I’ve been playing this game for two days now and I’m addicted!!!
